How I can help

Relationships and Dating

Relationship struggles can be painful, confusing, and deeply personal, especially when you find yourself repeating patterns you thought you had already outgrown. You may notice yourself overthinking interactions, fearing rejection, shutting down emotionally, losing yourself in relationships, struggling to set boundaries, or feeling stuck between wanting closeness and wanting distance.

I work with people who are dating, in long-term relationships, navigating breakups, or exploring relationship structures that feel right for them, including monogamous, non-monogamous, polyamorous, and other relationship dynamics. Therapy can provide a space to better understand your needs, patterns, boundaries, communication style, and the ways you relate to intimacy and connection.

In therapy, we work to better understand both the emotional roots of these patterns and the ways they continue to show up in your daily life. Depending on your needs, I may integrate approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to explore attachment patterns and emotional experiences, CBT to identify unhelpful beliefs or relationship cycles, and DBT skills to strengthen communication, emotional regulation, boundaries, and distress tolerance during conflict or periods of intense emotion.

Together, we’ll focus not only on insight, but also on helping you build healthier ways of relating, both to yourself and to other people. Therapy can help you develop more self-awareness, communicate more effectively, navigate relationships with greater confidence, and create connections that feel more secure, authentic, and fulfilling.
