How do I know if therapy is right for me?
You do not need to be in crisis or have everything figured out to benefit from therapy. Many people seek therapy because they feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or dissatisfied in their relationships, even while functioning well in other areas of life.
Therapy can be helpful if you are noticing recurring patterns in your relationships, struggling with anxiety, depression, burnout, perfectionism, life transitions, or simply wanting to better understand yourself and create meaningful change.
Many of the clients I work with are thoughtful, high-achieving individuals who are used to managing things on their own, but want a space where they can slow down, process their experiences, and feel more grounded, connected, and supported.
If you are curious about whether therapy may be a good fit, I welcome you to reach out for a consultation.

I specialize in working with thoughtful, high-achieving teens and adults navigating relationships, anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, depression, identity exploration, and life transitions.
Many of the clients I work with struggle with overthinking, emotional exhaustion, relationship and dating patterns, self-criticism, boundaries, loneliness, or feeling disconnected from themselves despite functioning well externally.
I also work with individuals navigating family dynamics, attachment and relationship concerns, identity development, stress related to race, culture, gender, or sexuality, and questions around meaning, fulfillment, and personal growth.

I currently offer virtual therapy sessions for adults located throughout California. Sessions are conducted securely via telehealth, allowing you to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own space.
While I currently work exclusively online, I hope to offer in-person sessions in San Francisco in the near future.
-
Before each session, you’ll receive a secure video link that can be accessed from your phone or computer. I recommend finding a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable speaking openly and won’t be interrupted during our time together.
Many clients find virtual therapy to feel surprisingly personal and connected, while also offering greater flexibility and ease within busy schedules.

Fees are based on the customary rates for psychologists in the Bay Area. Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes and are $270 per session. Payment is due at the time of each session. I am an out-of-network provider, but I can provide a monthly superbill for possible reimbursement through your insurance plan.
I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee appointments for clients facing economic hardship. If you are interested in working with me but are unable to pay my full rate, please reach out. I will determine if I’m able to accommodate you, and if not, I will be happy to provide referrals.
-
I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not directly accept insurance. However, I can provide monthly superbills that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement if your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits.
Many clients with PPO plans are able to receive partial reimbursement for therapy sessions. I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to better understand your coverage and reimbursement eligibility.
Some helpful questions to ask your insurance provider include:
Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health therapy?
What is my annual deductible, and how much of it has been met?
What percentage of therapy costs will be reimbursed after my deductible is met?
Are telehealth therapy sessions covered the same way as in-person sessions?
Are there any limitations or exclusions for virtual psychotherapy services?
I’m happy to answer any additional questions you may have about the reimbursement process during our consultation.

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll discuss your current concerns, goals, relationships, and any questions you may have about the process.
There is no pressure to have everything figured out before starting. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable and collaborative for you.
-
The length of therapy varies depending on each person’s goals, needs, and the areas they would like to focus on. Some clients come to therapy for support around a specific challenge or transition, while others choose to engage in longer-term work focused on deeper patterns and personal growth. We’ll continue to assess what feels most helpful and supportive for you over time.
-
I ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, as well as missed sessions, will be charged the full session fee.
I understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can occasionally come up. At the same time, maintaining a consistent cancellation policy helps protect reserved session times and supports the therapy process for all clients.
