Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is an evidence-based, attachment-focused approach that helps people better understand their emotional experiences, relationship patterns, and core needs. EFT is grounded in the idea that emotions carry important information about ourselves and our relationships, and that meaningful change happens when we can safely explore and process those emotions rather than avoid or suppress them.
In individual therapy, EFT can help you better understand patterns such as self-criticism, emotional disconnection, people-pleasing, fear of rejection, difficulty trusting others, or feeling stuck in the same relationship dynamics. Together, we work to identify the underlying emotions and attachment experiences shaping these patterns so that you can relate to yourself and others with greater clarity, self-compassion, and security.
I practice Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) and have completed foundational training in EFT through the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). My work integrates EFT principles in a warm, collaborative, and emotionally attuned way, helping clients deepen their understanding of themselves, strengthen relationships, and create more secure and fulfilling emotional connections.
